With the summer season getting shorter and shorter I thought I would highlight a fun and interesting game with a summertime theme. It’s Regatta a sailing game made by 3M back in 1967. The object of the game is to race around the island course of your choosing while dealing with winds and your competitors. This is a well thought out game with cool metal pieces that will delight any sailing enthusiast.
This week we have another hard to find record. It is the soundtrack album from the 1956 film Alexander the Great staring the great Richard Burton. This powerful score was directed by Mario Nascimbene. Soundtrack albums are a great collectable and early ones are extremely hard to find in good condition.
This week our “Pick” is another great Mid-Century Modern Find. A great coffee table with a cast iron and chrome base. This vintage table is from the 1960’s and measures 36″ in diameter and stands 17″ tall. The top of the table is made from Weyerhaeuser Forplex with a simulated wood grain finish.
This Saturday (7/25) is the annual Art Fest on the River in Williamston (10am-6pm) and a great reason to be in Williamston on Saturday. We will be opening at 10am on Saturday. Hope to see you here.
