Suburban Antiquarian

Suburban Antiquarian is a store for collectors run by collectors.  We search for fun and unusual art, antiques and all types of collectibles. No matter what you collect we just might have what you’ve been searching for.  Whether you are new to collecting or a seasoned veteran we can help you find your next treasure!

We have an extensive selection of vintage vinyl, collectible toys and games, books, furniture, non-sports trading cards and fine art. Our real specialty, however, is bringing back fond memories. Every trip to Suburban Antiquarian is a trip back to your childhood.

My collecting began when I was just a child with things like trading cards, coins and bottle caps.  As I grew older I began collecting toys, records, books, anything that interested me.  This love of collecting and a natural talent for working with my hands helped me land an incredible job in the restoration shop at a large Massachusetts Antique Furniture Store.

It was a great experience working there and I learned a huge amount about furniture restoration. Sadly the owners decided it was time to retire. After that we decided to return to Michigan. Back in Michigan I found a job working on furniture, mostly repair and refinishing but I found it enjoyable nonetheless.

Now I am in business for myself.  See our offerings inside The Mega Mall in Lansing, MI.  Booth F 7, Showcase 54 and Showcase 95. We have more than what will fit in the space so if you are looking for something in particular please contact us.
