This powerful score was directed by Mario Nascimbene. Soundtrack albums are a great collectable and early ones are extremely hard to find in good condition.

Pete Seeger – We Shall Overcome

Pete Seeger
Pete Seeger

This week in honor of all that has happened with marriage rights; I thought an album by legendary folk singer and protester, Pete Seeger would be appropriate for our “Pick”. This record was recorded live at Carnegie Hall in 1963 and released later that year. These are the songs that fueled the fires of protest. Pete was called a Communist for his beliefs but he only wanted equality and fairness. Don’t we all want the same things? Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Happy Independence Day.
