Our “Pick” this week is a recent find, The Oscar Peterson Trio & the Gerry Mulligan Quartet at Newport. These legendary live performances were recorded in 1957 (Peterson) and 1962 (Mulligan). If you are a Jazz aficionado you know that you can’t go wrong with Oscar Peterson. Hear history being made on this hard to find record.
This week we have a fun new find from our recent buying trip. The “Pick of the Week” are a great pair of Solid Brass Antique Car Horns. These are from the early days of automobiles, back when horns weren’t a standard feature. Sometimes these kind of horns were used on carriages. Both horns have their reeds and original mounting brackets. As you can see both are missing their bulbs. Those are easily replaceable and available online.
It’s Memorial Day Weekend and with it comes lots of family fun and relaxation. This week for our “Pick” we have something for the whole family. From 1963 it’s The Beverly Hillbillies board game. This game is complete and in good condition. So stop in before the trip to the cottage and pick up a game. We have many to choose from.
Also on a side note we will be closing at 4pm on Friday 5/22 and reopen Wednesday 5/27 with regular hours.
