New this week we have a beautiful 45″ Brass Fireplace Fender. It has a lovely pierced design with fans and Acanthus leaves. The fender was most likely produced in the United States in the 1800’s. It would look great in a restored Victorian home. It is currently available at our store in Williamston.
One hundred years ago the third Tarzan book by Edgar Rice Burroughs was first published as a novel. It was originally released as a serial in 1914. This copy is a first edition in very good condition. Sadly it has no dust jacket. The amazing success of the Tarzan books and other great E. R. Burroughs works insure the lasting value of first editions such as this.
One great way to help the Earth and conserve it’s precious resources is to buy used when possible. This is especially true with furniture. Not only is the quality of antique furniture better than most furniture produced today many of the styles will stay in fashion longer. In addition to that many pieces of antique furniture that are kept in good condition will increase in value.
