Vintage 1972 Pabst Blue Ribbon ” School Year Calendar”

Happy St. Patrick’s Day

It’s time to highlight another great find. This great pick is newly listed on our Etsy shop. A vintage 1972 Pabst Blue Ribbon “School Year Calendar”. This Cool advertising piece measures 8″ wide by 68 1/4″ long. It features a lovely Flapper girl and would be incredible framed. I know there is a Man Cave out there that needs this.

Locally I will be bringing some new things to our booth (M-9) at the Mega Mall this Sunday. If you are in Lansing stop by. The treasure hunting’s always great at the Mega Mall.

Vintage Petroleum Collectables

Vintage oil cans.
Vintage oil cans.

Just in we have some great vintage petroleum and automotive collectables. We have a nice selection of vintage oil and lubricant cans; along with some license plates and gas station maps. Many of the oil cans and maps are from the 1950’s. If you have been hunting for decorations for that man cave, garage or work shop now is the perfect time to come on by.

Rock-O-Rama Vol. 2

Rock-o-Rama Vol. 2
Rock-o-Rama Vol. 2

This week I want to highlight a very cool compilation album that I recently discovered. Rock-O-Rama Vol. 2 from 1972 is full of seldom heard gems by seldom heard groups. This comp. has hits by Chubby Checker, Bobby Rydell, The Orlons, ? & the Mysterians, The Dovells and Zacherly. I don’t really understand why the two John Zacherly songs are on here but I do love novelty songs and Dinner with Drac is great. One thing is for sure, whoever put this comp together for Abkco had interesting taste in music.
