This week I want to highlight a very cool compilation album that I recently discovered. Rock-O-Rama Vol. 2 from 1972 is full of seldom heard gems by seldom heard groups. This comp. has hits by Chubby Checker, Bobby Rydell, The Orlons, ? & the Mysterians, The Dovells and Zacherly. I don’t really understand why the two John Zacherly songs are on here but I do love novelty songs and Dinner with Drac is great. One thing is for sure, whoever put this comp together for Abkco had interesting taste in music.
